High Voltage Indoor Karting is the first of its kind in Northeast Ohio.
Are your kids driving you crazy because they are pent-up in the house? Are you bored? Are you looking for something new and fun to do with your friends? We will shake the crazy, whining and boredom right out of you, your family and your friends. We are an extreme go-karting experience like no other –the ultimate rush for men and women, young and old and everyone in-between.
Here’s our story…
Friends, adrenaline junkies, gear-heads and racing fanatics, Greg Cordray and Steve Madden were saddened by the long Ohio winters cutting off their outdoor vehicle tinkering fun. By chance, Greg popped into an indoor karting raceway while on vacation in sunny Florida and brought the experience home to Steve. Steve, all too aware of the short Ohio summers, saw an opportunity to bring a unique, all-season, high-adrenaline experience to Northeast Ohio. Immediately, the two scouted out and landed the perfect location. Soon after, High Voltage Indoor Karting was born.
Spicing up the neighborhood
Fun and excitement aren’t the only things we bring to the table. We are committed to the community and have brought the old Foundry building in Medina back to life. This historic building dates from 1912, and most recently served as a plant for the casting of air conditioning units. High Voltage Indoor Karting occupies nearly 40,000 square feet of the Foundry. The industrial noises of A/C manufacturing have been replaced by the hum of electric go-karts and the chatter and cheers of excited racers.
